By accessing or using PermitCrush at permitcrush.com (the "Platform"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree to these Terms, do not use the Platform.

PermitCrush is an online driver education and permit test preparation platform that provides practice questions, quizzes, progress tracking, spaced repetition, and gamified learning features for the California DMV permit test.

• You must provide a valid email address to create an account.
• You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account.
• You must not share your login credentials or one-time passcodes with others.
• You are responsible for all activity that occurs under your account.
• You must be at least 13 years of age to use the Platform, or have parental consent.
• We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms.

You agree not to:

• Use the Platform for any unlawful purpose
• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to the Platform or its systems
• Interfere with or disrupt the Platform or its infrastructure
• Scrape, copy, or redistribute Platform content without permission
• Use automated tools (bots, scrapers) to access the Platform
• Circumvent rate limits or security measures
• Impersonate another person or misrepresent your identity
• Upload malicious content, malware, or harmful code
• Share, sell, or distribute exam questions or answers outside the Platform

All content on the Platform — including questions, explanations, code, design, logos, and text — is the property of PermitCrush or its licensors and is protected by copyright and intellectual property laws.

• You may use the Platform content solely for personal, non-commercial study purposes.
• You may not reproduce, distribute, modify, or create derivative works from Platform content without written permission.
• Custom questions generated using the AI feature are provided for your personal use and may not be redistributed commercially.

If you create custom tests or upload study materials, you retain ownership of your original content. By uploading content to the Platform, you grant us a limited license to process and store it for the purpose of generating questions and providing the service to you.

• No Exam Guarantee: We do not guarantee that using this Platform will result in passing any exam. Exam results depend on many factors beyond our control.
• Not Official Material: Questions and content on this Platform are independently created for practice purposes. They are not sourced from or endorsed by any exam administration body.
• No Regulatory Affiliation: PermitCrush is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or connected to the California Department of Motor Vehicles or any state DMV.
• As-Is Service: The Platform is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including but not limited to warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, PermitCrush and its operators shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including but not limited to:

• Loss of profits, data, or use
• Failure to pass an exam
• Service interruptions or data loss
• Errors or inaccuracies in content
• Unauthorized access to your account

Our total liability for any claim arising from your use of the Platform shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the 12 months prior to the claim (which, as a free platform, is $0).

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless PermitCrush, its operators, and affiliates from any claims, losses, or damages arising from your use of the Platform or violation of these Terms.

We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue the Platform (or any part of it) at any time, with or without notice. We are not liable to you or any third party for any modification, suspension, or discontinuance of the Platform.

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify users of material changes by updating the "Last updated" date at the top of this page. Continued use of the Platform after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the United States, without regard to conflict of law principles.
